Manuela Espiritu R.I.P. 1/1/1932-8/8/2006

My beautiful, lovely mother passed away on August 8, 2006 at 6:49 a.m (PST). She died from struggling a combination of multiple strokes, diabetes, Acute Myeloid Leukemia M5, and finally, heart failure.

She was a devoted wife, tireless matriarch of 7 children, and my best friend. She nurtured me, taught me many things about life, love, passion, and was a firm believer in my abilities, constantly inspiring and providing advice. She patiently took care of my dad and without her, all of us would not be where we are.

Ma, thank you for everything you have given me. I will fulfill my promise to you to be the best that I can be. I love you very much and I will miss you.
